The resilient jackfruit

Corey SWTKO

Our jackfruit tree. It got a few feet tall but one day I checked on it and it appeared to be dead.

While I was reclaiming the pot, I noticed that some of the lower section was still alive.

So I cut the upper part off and repotted it into some good soil.

Just a few weeks later, I can see it clearly hasn’t given up.

Sometimes cutting away the bad parts is the path to new life.

If nature doesn’t give up after a loss, neither should we.
