A beautiful lesson from the garden about abundance and expectations. Some fruit will be for nourishment. We’ll enjoy the sweetness as a reward for our husbandry and stewardship.
Other fruits will be eaten by the birds or squirrels, and maybe even fall to the ground and rot. This is not a loss, even the dropped fruit will become compost to feed the soil and roots.
When we exercise holistic gratitude for the process and cultivate an appreciation for the environment, we understand that the things we once thought we missed out on, have a way of integrating themselves into a future harvest.
Life is absolutely beautiful, enjoy every moment.
