An Exercise in Metacognition

An Exercise in Metacognition

Metacognition : Awareness and understanding of one's own thought processes.

The exercise of thinking about my thinking was actively evolving my consciousness long before I ever heard the word "Metacognition".  It was growing beneath the surface like mycelium, from the spores I picked up traveling into various rabbit holes. Some from listening to Bernardo Kastrup and Donald Hoffman talk about the nature of reality, others from people like Dr. Joe Dispenza or Alan Watts.

Experiencing the mind and observing the mind are two very different things. When we choose to take a closer look and what we are thinking, and why, we gain access to a new set of tool and possibilities. We discover problem solving paths that were not available from inside the experience, only above it.

These pieces are all inspired by this idea. Using metacognition to access different versions of the self. The advanced architects and healers that exist inside all of us.

Thank you for being on this journey with us.
